Fab Fulton and Art of Brooklyn Film Festival team up for a frnight of free indie films under the stars

AoBFF has teamed up with @fabfulton to screen a block of festival alumni under the stars! Join us for 'FAB Flicks x AoBFF' Wednesday, July 30. Pull up a chair (or bring your own) inside The Backlot at Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center (650 Fulton Street Brooklyn NY 11217). 

Snacks and food are welcome, and we encourage you to support local eateries!
Seating opens at 7:30 pm, movies will begin at dusk.

FORBIDDEN POND - Documentary, 13 min.
A camera mounted to a microscope reveals the life in puddle samples in New York City.

BUTCH ROBINSON AND THE STOLEN SOULS - Thriller/Noir, 10 min.
As increasing numbers of women mysteriously lose their souls, one nonbinary gumshoe must rely on the thing that sets them apart in order to save the day and get the girl.

NAUDLINE PIERRE: A PLACE OTHER THAN HERE - Documentary, 8 min
Brooklyn artist Naudline Pierre reframes traditional representations of religion and spirituality, finding freedom in a world of her own making—where the airborne and earthbound coexist and cooperate.

MAMA NIGHT - Comedy, 15 min.
A pregnant woman learns what she must sacrifice in order to become a real Mama.

BIRDFEEDER - Documentary, 11 min.
The birds outside a Brooklyn window help a man heal as the world turns upside down. When two doves build a nest on his fire escape, they bring hope for a new beginning.

THE TOWER - Comedy, 10 min.
Jane, a newly single and jobless Brooklynite *literally* stumbles upon a mysterious book that catapults her into a dizzying quest of self-discovery.

ROBERTO’S DREAM - Experimental, 3 min.
Brooklyn artist and filmmaker Lynn Bianchi’s surreal illusory fairytale inspired by a dream.

DON’T PICK UP - Drama, 15 min.
Louisa (Kathryn Erbe) enters a Children’s Bookshop to escape a humiliating day. When Chris (Keith David), the sweet and lonely store manager, attempts an awkward flirt, it both excites and terrifies her, awakening old compulsions. Which is stronger? Love?...or the wild need to escape with the book in her purse?
