5 years! That's a big milestone in the world of indie film festivals, and we're very excited our Wooden Anniversary is just over a month away. You'll be seeing our poster going up around Brooklyn soon, designed by our Director of Communications Anthony DeVito. We're proud to welcome back Investors Bank, HBO, Focus Camera as returning sponsors, and St. Francis College who has generously supported us from day one. We're working hard to finalize our 2015 film lineup, and you can rest assured it'll be chock full of the best new indie films, each one with a real connection to Kings County. No other festival on the planet can say that! So get your Early Bird Festival Pass today. It gets you into all screenings, parties and events. It also gets you $10 off until April 15th. See you at the Festival! As we gear up for the 2015 Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, we wanted to take a moment to list everything we're thankful for. Our 5th(!) Annual AoBFF is in May. May 13-17 to be exact. May rules our lives and our brains. May! May! MAAAYYYY. Some days it feels far away, other days it feels like tomorrow. We're working overtime to make FIVE our best yet, which is why it's important to take a beat, take a breath, and say thank you. Brooklyn is art. Art is Brooklyn. Our instagram feed captures the borough in unexpected ways. Old school, new school. Street art and streets that are art. Who knew every inch of Kings County was so beautiful? (We did.) Follow us and you'll see why.
This Fall has shaped up to be our busiest yet: The launch of Brooklyn On Demand, opening submissions for the 5th Annual Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and a brand-new website.
