The 12th Annual Art of Brooklyn Film Festival marked our return to a full slate of in-person screenings — and what a slate it was! Over 70 new films from Brooklyn and around the world, screening in venues across the borough (including opening night in Cobble Hill Cinemas.) Special events like our legendary Launch Party, filmmaker workshops, and our first-ever live music/film event (featuring an original score for the 90th anniversary of Jean Cocteau's landmark silent film The Blood Of A Poet) marked just some of our 2022 highlights. Enthusiastic audiences and filmmakers were thrilled to meet each other face to face again, and we loved the supportive energy each event generated. To increase the accessibility of our 2022 selections, we used our state-of-the-art virtual platform to screen encores of all our films that streamed across the globe. We want to thank all our filmmakers, volunteers, partners, and guests for making our 12th edition extra special. See you next year! The Winners of the 2022 AoBFFOutstanding Cinematography:
