Experimental Film Finds Virtual Space at 10th Annual Art of Brooklyn Film Festival.

Experimental and non-linear film is often ignored by film festivals. AoBFF created the category Film As Art to include work that often defies categorization.

"From the beginning I wanted to make sure that we made space for experimental films in the festival. Here in Brooklyn we see artists working in film and video and filmmakers pushing further into art— and our screening category Film As Art encompasses both. As we have grown increasingly international in our reach, the scope of our experimental films has grown as well. This year we have two screening blocks — including films Brazil and Taiwan, among others."
